Rosso Riserva Tullum DOCG
Feudo Antico
Rosso Riserva Tullum DOCG is a high-quality red wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy, crafted specifically for the Tullum DOCG (Denomination of Origin Guaranteed). It is made primarily from 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 200-250 meters in the Tullum DOCG area (Switzerland-Tolo), with calcareous clay soil that effectively withstands the ionic winds from the Mediterranean as well as the fresh dry microclimate from the hinterland, creating a unique microclimate that allows the grapes to develop distinct polyphenolic characteristics. The pure Montepulciano wine undergoes fermentation in steel tanks with extended skin contact (30-35 days) and precise pump-overs to extract color and smooth tannins; it is then aged in oak barrels for 6 months, followed by a minimum 18 months in bottle before being released, totaling approximately 24 months. The alcohol content is 14.5% vol
